I'm considering investing in new software to create high quality artwork. I already have adobe photoshop and illustrator. I was looking at zbrush but I'm not sure if its good. Does anybody have any recommendations?

If you're looking for three dimensional software, Messiah is another very high quality one.

If you are artistic, then perhaps a high end graphic tablet might be appropriate?

Since Photoshop is considered the top line, maybe you would be better off investing in some quality tutorials for it. I am still using very old technology in PhotoImpact, and I still find features I didn't know it had. Photoshop has seemingly endless capacity.

I like Photoshop but I have trouble finding suitable brushes. I found a couple of free brush website but you can't sell the work if you use their brushes. I have a small Wacom tablet that I use for painting but I will be upgrading it soon. A good table costs about $300 usd.

I think if you are interested in doing editing task then Photoshop is a good choice and if you are looking for logo design or other creative design then illustrator should be good enough.
