RIP Jim Daly

1. xymonau7 April 2012, 14:22 GMT +02:00

I feel so sad. I just read this on Facebook:

Sadly, my lovely brother Jim passed away in the Intensive Care Unit at Whiston Hospital on Monday 27th February. There is a service at St Nicholas Church Whiston on Monday 5th March at 1:30pm followed by the burial at Knowsley Cemetery at 2:30pm. Flowers from family only or donations to the British Lung Foundation.

I was already missing Jim, and although I knew he was very ill, I still feel terrible to know he has gone. My deepest condolences to his family and close friends. I really loved his sense of humour and he will be truly missed here by many people.

Very sad news. I remember his posts and photos since the other site.

This is indeed very sad news.

I can't believe that his wonderful sense of humour and his unique take on the world will no longer grace this site and its forum. My condolences to the family.

I am very sorry to hear this sad news. Jim Daly was one of the very first rgbstock members. He uploaded his gallery in October 2009.That was month before rgbstock.com went live in January 2010. We will miss Jim.

As an infrequent visitor here I have only just read the news about Jim. He will be missed here - and remembered as a lovely, humorous and generous contributor. Sad news...
