Taken at Butterfly Park, Penang, Malaysia.
Scientific Name: Heteropteryx Dilatata
Favorite Food: Guava Leaf
Also known as the Malaysian Jungle Nymph, it is very common in Malaysia. Adult males are brown in colour and females are apple-green. This species is definitely not for beginners and not easy to handle. The adults can attack with their spiny hind legs and will pierce the human skin.
