This freebie is a handy tool for downloading video clips from more than 73 sites, including YouTube. If you don't know where to go to download videos, check xVideoServiceThief's handy configuration options (from More Options, Ups!). You'll discover scads of other Internet video sites you probably didn't know about -- and which will keep you entertained.

It's a no-brainer to use: Just drag and drop videos from the Web site onto the program's icon. You can pause and resume downloads, or stop the download altogether. The tool also lets you convert videos to AVI, MPEG1, MPEG2, WMV, MP4, 3GP, and MP3 file formats.

Mac, Windows and Linux versions available. All free!

I use a free online service to download youtube videos.
No software installation necessary.
It can also convert them to different file formats, e.g. other video formats or mp3.
