Oh, beautiful! I hhad one of these as a pet years ago, and I bred one little female chick. A normal hen sat on a clutch of pheasant eggs, but she killed all the chicks as they hatched because she knew they weren't right. We saved just one little bird called, "Peasant pheasant". LOL She was a funny, flighty thing. I have always loved these birds. Thank you for a great series of photos!
