first go 20,000.
Surprised, as I am aware my geography is awfully lacking. Will keep going & maybe learn something...

Gee, that was the best I could do. Cats are smart.

Super Mario Bros. Crossover

This version of your favorite Nintendo Entertainment System classic looks and sounds just like the Super Mario Bros. you remember from childhood.

Save the planet

The world is faced with impending ecological devastation, and only you can prevent it! Race against the clock and the elements to avert certain disaster and save the planet...

...the planet Helios that is. That's the setting for PowerUp, a free action-strategy game from IBM and the New York Hall of Science. It's designed for children ages 8 and older, but even adults may find it addicting.

Spot the difference
Remember those spot-the-difference games from your childhood? They were a great way to train your brain to notice little details.

The online game 6 Differences will take you back to those days. It shows you two pictures with six differences for you to find. It's a nice way to take a break and get some mental exercise.

It's called BallDroppings and it's very simple: Tiny white balls fall down the screen repeatedly. You draw lines around the screen at whatever length and angle you like, and every time the ball bounces off a line, it makes a sound.

The pitch of the ping varies by the speed, gravity and distance. Experiment with rhythm to create a symphony of bouncing balls.

This looks like fun, but I think it might only work in Chrome. It freezes in IE.

Yes, Chrome it is. It's a bit addictive, and then it becomes annoying. I think I just need some sleep! LOL

Have you heard about Disney's new movie Wreck-It-Ralph? It's based off of old-school 1980s arcade games.

It has cameos from some of my favorite old video game characters. If you watch the trailer closely, you could spot Clyde, Bowser, Dr. Robotnik and M. Bison.

The movie comes out this November, but until then you can play the game featured in the film, Fix-It-Felix Jr. It may not have existed in the '80s, but it sure feels like it.

Climb up the tower and fix the windows before Ralph wrecks them all! Collect the pies, but watch out for falling bricks and ducks.
