You can only change ONE letter, AND/OR rearrange the letters currently available. The first word is:

10276. Ayla8728 January 2015, 6:27 GMT +01:00

I have seen that even for birds it is not always easy to

lift

off from the ice... Sometimes they need several attempts...

I could

list

on a very small piece of paper the number of birds I've seen on ice :0)

Perhaps the backside of a stamp would be the right size of paper for you? In times of E-Mail we rarely use them anymore, they have

lost

most of their former significance. Who writes letters nowadays?

10279. gesinek29 January 2015, 10:34 GMT +01:00

The

most

letters are send today by companies or the goverment for they want to have their bills payed.

And advertisment, advertisment - in Mails we call it spam....
But most stamps are made electronically today.

with the

cost

spent for all those advertisements we could make a wonderful vacation. Where would you like to travel to?

stop

all this talk of travel - I'm getting cabin fever

10282. Ayla8729 January 2015, 14:29 GMT +01:00

I know it is a hard topic. I didn't travel for a very long time now because of my migraine (and no change in sight). To

shop

for some delicacies is a little compensation.

10283. gesinek29 January 2015, 15:17 GMT +01:00

Have you tried the migraine treatment in the special hospital in Kiel you talked about some times ago?
When I remember it right you hade

hope

that they can help you

10284. xymonau29 January 2015, 17:40 GMT +01:00

Yes, I have wondered about that frequently, Michael. Did you go? It looked a bit

posh

10285. Ayla8730 January 2015, 6:39 GMT +01:00

My neurologist said it wouldn't be necessary for me to go there, she prescribed me the botox then anyhow and meant that they couldn't do more for me. That is okay. I still have them as a reserve if things should get much worse (what I don't

hope).

10286. xymonau30 January 2015, 14:24 GMT +01:00

I hope you aren't having too many problems at the moment.

Thanks for asking, Dez, the migraine is behaving well at the moment.

And we are having our first snow. This is the outlook from our living room window / Mimis terrace

That looks very nice Michael. I can imagine you enjoyed the walk and the tart after it.

I would love to be in a landscape like that for a little while. It's magical! Glad you're going well. I was scheduled to have major surgery on Friday this week, but I've cancelled. I think I'm too anxious, I don't think I have exhausted all other possibilities, and I don't think my son could have coped with caring for me for the weeks of convalescence afterward. I feel bad about cancelling, but I'll have another appointment at the hospital to talk to them. Right now, I've been off work since July last year, and I wish I could feel a lot better than I do. That's my whine for the night. :o)

Yes, nature can amaze us with those magic looks.

I think it is absolutely okay not to start with major surgery before you are fully convinced about it and trust that it is the best thing that can be done to help you. I hope they can answer all your questions at the hospital and give you a good feeling. Whenever you go to the hospital for a longer time you should tell us so that we won't have to worry too much. In our thoughts we will always be at your bedside to cheer you up...

Michael, thank you so much. I appreciate that. I have had so much going on with work issues and family that I guess I just was trying to keep too many balls in the air at once. You know how it is. Humans have a habit of that. I'm lucky to have what I have, when so many people have so little.

Thanks, Gesine. Much appreciated.
