problems with signing in

1. lusi4 July 2011, 11:59 GMT +02:00

The function "Sign in" doesn't work. Finally I logged in by entering a users profile and trying to send him a message... there you have to log in to contact a user, and the possibility of logging in is available...
Am I the only one with that problem?

I couldnt get in either; but now I got a login screen . . . :-) A little big, but I got one :-)

3. xymonau4 July 2011, 14:10 GMT +02:00

I had the same problem today. I thought it might just be me.

4. crisderaud4 July 2011, 14:29 GMT +02:00

The site had a glitch but they fixed it and you can sign in now.

5. lusi4 July 2011, 16:48 GMT +02:00

Hmm, I still cant sign in. The new big windows open, I can write the user name and password but there is no "point" to confim (clicking Enter on PC doesn't help either)

6. johnnyberg4 July 2011, 20:03 GMT +02:00

hmm - I get a "sign in" clickable button, that works. And no, hitting enter doesn't do anything here either.... :-)

I don' see the sign in. In fact, the hole window (with the two horizontal "windows" for username and password ) isnt centered. So I see just a half of the window for password at the bottom.

@6: john: I know. It is still a problem in Internet Explorer but I think I have a solution (could take a while)

@7: sanja: Do you have a very small screen? I placed the popup window a little bit higher upon the page.

9. lusi5 July 2011, 0:23 GMT +02:00

Not so small (a "normal" laptop screen). At this moment on the pop up window I also see the uper part (where "x" for closing is) that I haven't before, but still I see just the half of the lower "password" blanc part... it ends on the lower border of the pop window (the complete pop up window is in the middle of the screen, with a lot of space above and under it).. hmm, I hope you understand what I mean :)

hmm, I thought I was the only one having issues trying to login!

WinXP SP3, FF5.0, 1600x900
could type in my username, but when I used tab or the cursor to click on the password field, it just disappeared for a few times. later it allowed me. the large password prompt is nice.

also if I edit the message. it says "edit" again, instead of "save" or "save edit"
--------------------------------
EDIT
second time around it was smooth sailing with the signing in. But it has the exact same behavior on Opera - first time around, bit buggy, close the login prompt - the second time it works fine.

Sanja, hitiing the tab button will move that little screen down further.

12. jazza5 July 2011, 9:22 GMT +02:00

Thank you all for the input. Lets see what I can do.

13. lusi5 July 2011, 9:52 GMT +02:00

The tab button doesn't help... Nothing happens... well , if a write the password ( I can do that) and click the tab button, then more little black points appear (and the password gets looong)

14. xymonau5 July 2011, 14:54 GMT +02:00

It worked for me. Sorry it didn't for you.

15. jazza5 July 2011, 23:14 GMT +02:00

We changed two little things to the sign in popup form. In IE you can use the [enter] key again (John) and in IE7 the popup should show up better now (Sanja).
Would it be possible to test again please?

working perfect for me! Thanks :)

17. johnnyberg6 July 2011, 12:03 GMT +02:00

@15: working just fine with this XP and an old IE; my main laptop is down at the moment - but I guess it will work there too ;-)

18. jazza6 July 2011, 21:40 GMT +02:00

Good to hear this; thank you all.

19. krayker7 July 2011, 8:22 GMT +02:00

working fine now. only thing - how about a save password or keep me logged in option ?

20. xymonau7 July 2011, 10:01 GMT +02:00

Kray, I stay logged in unless I log out.
