The move went very smoothly, thanks for asking, Dez. Everything is unpacked now and Mimi is very happy with her new terrace. She is defending it already proudly when one of the cat who live there comes for a visit. The welcome by our new neighbours was not too good, they don't like the look of our safety wire mesh guard (schutznetz) for the cat on the windows so that Mimi won't escape. But I think they will eventually get used to it. We still have no internet, that will take about one more week to finish. The variety of available TV programmes is also still limited, but that should be repairable. The unit is quite warm (will be cozy at winter times), the building has a poor isolation obviously, and the warm summer wheather keeps us stuck into the house. So it will take some time until we can find out more about our new surrounding area.

Change always has its positives and negatives. How long were you in the last place? I wish you well in the new.

That wasn't too long, only 4 years in the last place. We will see how long we feel comfortable in the new one.
