Nope. But I do like my food. You'da hated my lunch. Salad with boiled potatoes, a fake snag, an' baked beans! LOL I really loved it. The thing is, you can eat so much, but it's all low calories, so you still lose weight. Not that I've lost much this week. I've been sitting in a chair, studying and doing assignments. I haven't even finished one lot yet. I have about twelve to go in this topic, and four (I think) other topics with as many assignments to go. After I get through this mess, I am never studying again. If I appear to be weakening, send someone over to remind me of how miserable I feel with assignments.

Never feel safe with homeless men! LOL

About 23 years - but in a variety of welfare jobs as well. However, about 18 years or so with homeless men.

278. xymonau8 January 2012, 10:45 GMT +01:00

Do you eat cheese and milk products? If you're really heady or chesty, give them up for several days. Are you taking anything for it? Vitamins?

279. happyture8 January 2012, 12:21 GMT +01:00

Dont like cheese, I always say watch the birdie, but i do take milk in my coffee, I'll try if you say it works...

280. xymonau8 January 2012, 12:53 GMT +01:00

Anything that reduces the mucous will help. Eggs might be an issue, too. And I wasn't joking before about cod liver oil - although just some vegetarian vitamin A would be good. A lack of vitamin A can make colds go on forever.

Deeply coloured veges - beetroot, pumpkin, carrots, broccoli, spinach, etc - are excellent, and any nice fresh fruit - as much as you can eat - will really help.

Is there any chance of sunlight? That works wonders. If not, do you have a sunlamp? Ten minutes under the light from a sunlamp can help a lot, too. Make sure you open the windows and change the air inside every day. It may be cold, but you have to have fresh air and oxygen inside, too. We get in the habit of keeping out the draughts, and end up breathing depleted air a lot of the time. It doesn't help your resistance to bugs.

281. happyture8 January 2012, 16:35 GMT +01:00

Anything else Doctor Dezzie!! im writing it all down,,,,,,

282. xymonau8 January 2012, 23:27 GMT +01:00

I'm just telling you what works. Add a long soak in a warm (not hot) bath with lots of epsom salts dissolved in it. That's if you can get in and out of a bathtub. My old knees won't let me these days. And I've got a beautiful new bathtub in my unit.

283. happyture9 January 2012, 6:38 GMT +01:00

I know really dezzie and i appreciate everything you tell me, i am now on that glucosamine stuff and can really feel a difference, soooooo,, how much Epsom salts per bath then,,i dont want to come out looking like a salted joint of ham or anything now do i? as for getting in and out of a bath,,good days yes bad day i have a shower but once a month is enough for me as only dirty people need to bath every day dont they...

284. xymonau9 January 2012, 7:12 GMT +01:00

I think it's about a cup of epsom salts. One of the theories is that your body absorbs magnesium from it through the sklin, and that's what makes you feel good.

You won't come out looking like ham unless you got in looking like it!

Once a month? Are you obsessive or summat?

285. happyture9 January 2012, 8:29 GMT +01:00

OK,,,Right about a cupfull, is that a ordinary cup sized cup or a Oztralian sized cup? I am hansome thats what me Ma sez anyway,,well she sez i,m the most hansomeist ugly person she's ever seen....

286. xymonau9 January 2012, 10:02 GMT +01:00

I would suggest a 200 to 250 ml cup - or an ordinary medium sized teacup. Finest Belgian china or it won't work.

Okay, the last bit was a lie.

You is quite hamsome, I'll hadmit. But is that desirable, Mikey? I harsk you.

287. happyture10 January 2012, 9:07 GMT +01:00

200/250 ml cup Epsom salts,,will i need rose petals/herbs in with that, maybe a little cracked black pepper,, hey dezzie, never mind bloody handsome i'll be good enough to eat gurl :O)

288. xymonau10 January 2012, 10:15 GMT +01:00

Yes, but if I eat a epsom-salts-coated man, it'll have a undesirable effect.

289. happyture10 January 2012, 12:17 GMT +01:00

Ha ha ha,,you'll find any old excuse gurl...
