There are many entry level cameras, hundreds in fact. For good reviews it's best to head for as independent a site as you can find. Try http://www.dpreview.com.
I've always read and valued many different sites depending on the type of gear I am after.
Start with http://www.bhphotovideo.com - as loathe as I am to lead you anywhere in particular, but it's a start on reviews and particularly on os prices.
