Loved his comment: "I felt a hundred years older, but non the wiser". That really does capture the essence of people in warzones if you ask me (I do have to say: I've never been in a war zone, so I'm probably wrong!)

Reminds me of Tiananmen Square back in 89, almost as powerful, brave guy with the gun, cameras are one mighty dangerous tool in the right hands

@1 Yikes. I couldn't do those types of shoots. I get nervous getting too close to a snapping turtle to take a photo.
@7 Amazing photography. I'd never heard of him before. thanks for putting that up.
