Strange upload

1. mzacha2 April 2010, 20:17 GMT +02:00

I uploaded a file, I cannot see it (there is a hourglass instead of the image), and when I click it, i receive an access to someone's else image (Mange Tout!), What happened? :P

Something did not register properly in the database... hmm, how odd. Over 35000 went just fine, so that's a bit strange.

We know how to fix it, the file is uploaded, but no thumbnails where generated, but we'll research it a bit this weekend so we can possible find the cause.

OK, you are right, the picture is there... but the keywords and the name of the picture aren't mine ;). So, probably, the keywords and the name of the picture were not uploaded too.

I reuploaded the file, so... you can delete it. i'm not doing it just to let you check the thing. Thanks for the answer!

BTW. This is mzacha syndrome - why this topic has three posts and on the "Technical questions" you can see that it has four posts? :)

I had posted two messages and removed one. It's automatically fixed if something is wrong a few times a day so I didn't fix the counter. You noticed though. ;-)

It seems what you see in the photomanagement is this:

So the same problem happend exactly ones before.

Yep, I have those keywords :-). But now I cannot edit my "error" image or even see the keywords - the note "fatal error" occurs. So I even can't delete it.

We'll fix it probably on sunday evening.

I looked at it this morning, I couldn't find the real cause. I'll probably discuss it with Jay later this weekend. Maybe we can find the cause together.

All your information is save, it's just not displayed at the moment.

We added some fixes, but we didn't actually find the real cause, it's kinda strange. A sort of mathematical mystery. And we deleted that upload, because as you mentioned (and I've seen it) you already uploaded it again.

Yep, it was uploaded again. Thanks for deleting it ;). Well, may be the topic of the image was the cause? :P.

Today I received such information, while editing keywords. I had to edit the keywords once again and this time there was all right:

Warning: Unterminated comment starting line 1652 in /var/www/rgb/inc/sites/rgbstock/apps/db/mysql.php on line 1652

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected $end, expecting T_FUNCTION in /var/www/rgb/inc/sites/rgbstock/apps/db/mysql.php on line 1652

I think Jay made a mistake. :-)

I think you've seen the result of his mistake.
