BTW. Minor bug:
At work I use Mac with Safari 5.1.9 and I cannot post anything to this forum using paste function. So no links, no jokes ect. In the same time Firefox works fine :-)

And on the other sites paste works great.

78. jazza23 October 2013, 20:25 GMT +02:00

I have the same problem in Safari on Windows. I cant copy / paste. Copy and Paste works fine in Chrome (also webkit). At the moment I am not sure what causes the trouble. I need to investigate it. Thanks for the bug report, Michal

And there is no consequence in the feature which shows us the new comments and likes (top menu beside "Welcome user" line). When I click on new comments, the digit disappears. When I click on new likes, the digit is still there until the end of a day.

80. xymonau25 October 2013, 11:11 GMT +02:00

I think that one is meant to be, Michal. It gives you an idea of how many likes you have had in a day. They disappear at the end of the day anyway, but the comments go once they have been seen, but are still there to be read at any time.

81. jazza25 October 2013, 11:40 GMT +02:00

That is right Dez. Michal has a point though. I will think about it. Maybe I will come up with some improvement.

82. xymonau26 October 2013, 5:27 GMT +02:00

Can I suggest that it would be good to have an ongoing tally of the number of likes in each gallery? Having the most liked in images is good, but you have to keep scrolling down to find everything. I would keep that, but add either an accessible list similar to the list of number of photos in a gallery, which would encourage people to look at the galleries, or at the least something for each artist to see the number of their own downloads. The former would be best, in my opinion, as it does more than just inform the gallery owner.

83. jazza26 October 2013, 13:52 GMT +02:00

ok, I can do that. G ood suggestion Dez.

Hi,

In recent downloads from my gallery I have only today's downloads, not all recent. Is it a new feature?

85. micromoth15 January 2014, 13:29 GMT +01:00

I've noticed the same problem/feature too.

86. crisderaud16 January 2014, 4:25 GMT +01:00

Lennie is doing some downloads-table database maintenance.

The downloads-table was too big again. That was slowing down the server.

The maintenance is a time consuming process.

@mzacha it's now the whole month again, not just the last day.

I hope that solves the problem.

Sorry about the inconvenience.

DId a search on "felled" and got the following results:

Curious about the grey/blank images, I went to 2heads_Advertising's gallery - all greys/blanks. Is this a user who has deleted their gallery, but the database is still recording tags, download counts, etc for them even though there are now no images?

89. jazza6 February 2014, 19:36 GMT +01:00

Hm, I think your browser it playing tricks on you.

the photos are still there:

Maybe you are blocking the rgbimg.com domain? We use it for CDN (content delivery network)

90. ColinBrough6 February 2014, 23:47 GMT +01:00

Weird - from http://www.rgbstock.com/photo/mf8cERG I can download the photo, but can't see a preview of it... (screen grab below). Must be something in my cacheing? I can see the little preview image in your link above, and manually visiting a.rgbimg.com takes me to the normal site homepage (which I presume is deliberate).

And other people's images seem to work fine - eg weirdvis' http://www.rgbstock.com/photo/2dQZLfR/Canal+Path+2 which was a result in the same search.

Thanks.

I experience the same gley/blank appearance of 2heads_Advertising's gallery. My theory is that it has to to with our adblocker which responds to the word advertising...

--Michael

92. ColinBrough7 February 2014, 10:50 GMT +01:00

Ahh, could well be my adblocker (AdBlock Plus 2.4.1) on Firefox....

93. crisderaud8 February 2014, 5:06 GMT +01:00

I have used ad blockers for years and 2heads_Advertising get zapped by it all the time. Pretty sure he would have more downloads since so many people use AdBlock Plus

I configure the ad blocker to exempt the rgbstock.com domain.

Yesterday (Tuesday , March 4) we had some problems with the download statistics. Nothing serious. We fixed the problem an the statistics and download counters should be working normally again.

95. lennie5 March 2014, 9:09 GMT +01:00

We actually found some structural problem with how the download stats are displayed, the week stats always showed lower than they really are.

The stats for this week have been fixed.

96. johnnyberg5 March 2014, 16:51 GMT +01:00

When I click "photographers" and look at the table with our profilenames and the "rank" there then it says: "Photos" as header for the right coloumn. I think it should be "downloads" :-)

97. jazza6 March 2014, 13:47 GMT +01:00

Good find :(
I will fix it soon.

[edit] I fixed the error. Thanks for reporting it John.
