10. Zela25 May 2011, 19:40 GMT +02:00

It's beautiful birthday weather in Holland so Jay might have a garden party today ;-)

Happy birthday Jay and Phil!

11. weirdvis25 May 2011, 19:50 GMT +02:00

Phil and Jay - double the celebration, double the amount of birthday cake to hand around. :D

Have a great one!

12. Gramps26 May 2011, 0:34 GMT +02:00

Sorry guys, ran out of cake. 1 wife, 2 sons, 2 daughter in laws, 7 grandchildren, multiple in laws and out laws, all the lads at work and a partridge in a pear tree. You'll have to wait for the better half to make another. Now was that fruit cake or sponge? Jam, Cornish clotted cream or both ?

13. dlritter26 May 2011, 0:35 GMT +02:00

Happy Birthday!

14. Groningen26 May 2011, 1:01 GMT +02:00

hope you had great parties ;-)

15. jazza26 May 2011, 9:15 GMT +02:00

Thank you all.
We have a nightingale in our back garden and last night it was singing loud and beautiful in the dark.; that was really amazing.

Happy birthday Phill, you had a great party:)

16. xymonau26 May 2011, 10:37 GMT +02:00

I'll have mine dairy-free if it's all the same. Any chance fo that?

17. Gramps26 May 2011, 10:50 GMT +02:00

@16. No problem if you like fruit cake. I'll replace any dairy product with alcohol. That OK ?

18. crisderaud26 May 2011, 17:05 GMT +02:00

Happy birthday to both of you! Great time of year for a party!

19. Groningen26 May 2011, 23:54 GMT +02:00

@17: great! Dezzie will be singing "Happy Birthday" in no time

20. xymonau27 May 2011, 2:06 GMT +02:00

No alcohol. I am a boring tee-totaller. You would put me to sleep. Ah, sleep...I remember that...

21. Ayla8727 May 2011, 8:35 GMT +02:00

Me too, Dez. Great to have found someone who loves tea like I do. What kind of tea do you like most? I prefer green tea with spicy taste and rooibos.

I bet you have decaf as well :0)
OK. So that's a non alcoholic fruit cake with no dairy products with a sprinkle of tea over the top ( Yes Dez I do know the difference between a tee-totaller and a tea- addict).

How about I just send you a bag of nuts and raisons and a box of Tetley tea bags ?

Christa, I do love tea, but Gramps is right about the decaf - I gave up caffeine more than a year ago (except for when I'm driving long distance - I really need it then). I used to love really strong ceylon tea - two teabags to a cup! Now, if I want a hot drink, I have cocoa. But I find it gives me a headache if I have more than two cups in a day.

Phil, you just get your apron on and find a good vegan recipe for me. That's what friends are for! :oI

Lynne - that's funny!
