You ladies get enjoyment from such things, mind you, its a lot easier than the women's operation, having to stand in boiling water while they sterilise you must be sheer hell..

There is a first time for evvyting. How's the weather? We have just had four days of winter hit very hard. It was 6Celsius this morning. But it was a dry day, so it was bright and beautiful, like autumn should be. My favourite season - ruined by the rain.

470. happyture12 May 2011, 18:10 GMT +02:00

Told you Dezzie,,your weather will pick up now i can feel it in me bones N Things!

476. Groningen13 May 2011, 17:51 GMT +02:00

make lots of photo's and then come back here

( what happened to the 500 duck-photo's? )

477. happyture14 May 2011, 9:56 GMT +02:00

Think they drove poor Dezzie Quackers...

478. xymonau14 May 2011, 12:45 GMT +02:00

I have them. I was in the park again today feeding them, but no camera. The geese come up and hit your leg with their bills to ask for food. That can be scary, given their size. The white one that crept up behind us and was peering over the back of the park bench with his blue eyes was just gorgeous. Pilgrim geese are beautiful.

479. happyture14 May 2011, 19:19 GMT +02:00

The best alarm system you can have, many farmers in my area keep them and if they have intruders they kick up a fair Din which can be heard miles away..

480. Groningen15 May 2011, 0:22 GMT +02:00

geese warned the Romans for a Hun ambush

481. happyture15 May 2011, 9:43 GMT +02:00

Yeah,, and they probably brought them into England with them along with the rabbits and the nettles.
